Each year in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team new card designs are added which makes it that little bit more special and gets everyone excited.
Thanks to the work of ExoFIFA we can already look at some of the FIFA 23 card designs. These have been remade into high quality images based on what EA has shown in trailers and other places.
Nothing special can be expected from the basic cards in FUT but it can be spotted that each card has a specific brush curve which goes in the same direction. This pattern persists with the other cards too.
Similar to the common card designs of course with a bronze, silver and gold card. A shiny metallic look is used to differentiate the rare cards from the common cards.
The first special card we usually see at the start of every year is the inform (Team of the Week) card. Many new different brushes can be seen on this card which has been nicely done overall.
Ones to watch cards can be some of the most exciting cards to trade with and own because they have that element of unpredictability.
Pick the right OTW card and he could get multiple upgrades in just a couple months but there is a risk that he will receive no upgrades at all.
This will be the second year that FUT Heroes are in Ultimate team and it is exciting because we already know their will be at least two versions of FUT Heroes with one being a special World Cup FUT Heroes card design.
Rumours have been going around associated with this card design and Marvel so it will be interesting to see how EA will use this in FIFA 23.
It will definitely be used for the World Cup which in FUT 23 has already been announced to start November 11th.
Lastly, the final card which we know of that will be in the game from the start is the Icon card design.
Sticking to the traditional Icon card design colours does not disappoint.
